Who We Are

Introduction

We, the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo, are a religious congregation committed to incarnating the compassionate love of God through education and social outreach. Rooted in Gospel values and inspired by the example of Christ, our mission is to reach out to the poor, the marginalized, and those pushed to the peripheries of society, restoring their dignity and enabling them to live with hope and self-worth.

Through our social service initiative, Power Healee Trust, we actively respond to the pressing needs of vulnerable communities. Over the years, we have worked closely with economically disadvantaged families, women, school dropouts, and transgender persons who often face social exclusion, unemployment, and insecurity. Many among them struggle to meet their basic needs and are denied opportunities for education, skill development, and sustainable livelihoods.

Power Healee Trust serves as a platform through which we extend holistic care and empowerment. Our interventions include the provision of essential support such as food and groceries, access to education, vocational and skill training programs, livelihood promotion, and continuous accompaniment. We believe that true development goes beyond temporary relief; therefore, our focus is on long-term empowerment that helps individuals rediscover their inner potential and become self-reliant.

Faithful to our charism, we do not merely serve beneficiaries but walk alongside them in their journey of healing and transformation. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every person is respected, valued, and encouraged to stand on their own feet. By fostering confidence, skills, and social acceptance, we aim to break cycles of poverty and marginalization.

Through Power Healee Trust, the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo continue to respond to the cries of the poor with compassion, commitment, and hope. Our mission is to be instruments of healing and change, contributing to a more just, humane, and inclusive society where every person can live with dignity and purpose.
